Automated Minor Ingredient Systems

The O. A. Newton MIC system provides handling and batch weighing of minor ingredients from bulk bags or individual bag dump stations. The MIC system allows for ground level scaling of minor ingredients and then conveyance to a check scale in the head frame for accuracy and repeatability.

The unique weigh basket on the MIC unit allows for total material discharge into a common conveying line. Because the feed screw is accurate at high feed rates, the MIC system can achieve very short batch times. The MIC system will accurately weigh even the most difficult to handle materials.
